The small log mill can only run a 20" bar so you'll be very limited on what you can mill. You lose a few inches from mounting. I'd recommend buying bigger now rather than upgrading later. I have a 36" bar so I got the 48" mill just in case I need to go bigger but I can run my 20" bars on this setup also.
